Tailights
New Tailight Design
These pics are of my first "Very Rough" draft of an idea another member drew up sometime last year. Next, I'm going to make up a bust for each side and vacuform lenses that will fit properly.
The tape will be replaced by painted grooves (like stock grids),
the flashlight bulbs with real bulbs, or maybe a led array (havn't decided yet.) The farthest inside black pieces are gone, License plate will be moved, and the space between will have a backlit 'camaro' panel similar to the one 4th gens have. Havn't decided what to do with the reverse lights yet.
I'm going to do a set of the deep red transparent lenses, and another of smoked gray (will use red bulbs).
I'll post pics as I go along.

that 3gen with 4gen camaro symbol on back looks pretty neat. Those are gonna be some REDDDDDDD tail lights. and just a suggestion, they might be dark cause of the red light, you can brighten them by just using white lights again. but I don't know, see how they look and post some pics. you look like you could be done soon.

IF you use them, I mean.

Interesting idea...I'd like to see you follow three. Although I'm thinking they look a little too much like current Mustang lights. Nevertheless your whole idea with the center piece sounds awsome. Definitely keep us updated.

cool, I don't see how its lighter... only that maybe its made out of fiberglass? But I would bet money that a sub sounds great in there.

which concept? the sub sounding great? the fact that I didn't know it weighed less? the lack of the greenhouse effect? hehe what?
I still wonder if anyone's got subs in there. It most likely ruins the reflection angle back to your ears (if they are upward-facing subs), but the rigidity of that area would greatly reduce rattles, and thats okay in my book.
