Pros and cons of undercoating in side the car
I am in the middle of patching a few floor board holes in my bird.
I have been patching them from the inside, so far, so good. I had planned on using por-15 on the underbody after all was said and done.
My question is, should i use some sort of coating spray on the inside also? Would it be okay to use something by 3m for the inside?
My por-15 is not here yet, and i would like to do this tonight.
THanks

Really? Thats good to know, i never would of thought something coming out of a can would leave a mess like that. I assumed once it dried, it would be okay.
Thanks for the tip.

there's nothin wrong with undercoating your inside floor pan. on all my rustouts I'm just patching them and then I'll self etch the bare metal and undercoat on top of that. I'm not undercoating the whole thing because I don't really see the point; if it hasn't already rusted in the 20 ought years your car has been around it probobly won't rust just out of the blue.
