will a diff door fit/shut the same?

there is an 89 RS camaro the same exact color and condition as my 91 Z28. recently my friends dad backed his truck up into my doo and made a good amount of damage. i can get the door from the RS for farely cheap and i plan to keep the money i get from his insurance. i was wondering if changing the door would make it shut differently or not fit like the original? my doors still shut like they were new but i guess that all has to do with the hinges etc..right? so will it be fine?

Yeah, and now would be a good time to install new door pins.

It should fit right up with no problems. If you can, check the doorpin condition before removing it from the other car.

nevermind door pins. they're talking about the pins on your hinges. but of course when you change out doors your obvilously going to have the hinges that are on the new door. Just check door gaps and body lines, you should be fine; you can even use your passenger side as a reference.
