smooth fender lip?
smooth fender lip?
anyone smoothed out the fender lips on their cars?
as i'm getting ready for the next paintjob i have to roll the fenders for when the car sits on the ground and i'd like to get rid of that two piece looking lip by molding or smoothing it. just curious if anyone else has done it.

i think he means something like the front fenders on this car? i wanted these fenders but hawks said they only come in kits, i dun want the whole kit!!!
actually i'm talking about where the fender meets the tire...it's something that really isn't noticeable unless you look, but a detail that makes a difference. the picture really doesn't show it but all our cars have it.
it almost looks like two pieces here......if your looking up at it from the ground.

are you talking about where it looks like the metal is stamped together in the wheel well, but unfortunatly boarders near the lip? if it is, u'd proably have to bang it in, smooth it out and paint it.... but i've never done it, just put more into the pot :lala:
