Aftermarket seats
Who has aftermarket seats?
I was looking at a few different ones and my major concern is how confortable they are.
There are lots that look nice but what does you back and butt feel like after a couple of hours of easy crusing?
Any pictures would be great as well
Thanks

Great place to get them. No tax, No shipping and they ship directly from Corbeau
Go here....

this is where I got them. They are great to deal with, just give them a call. I got them in red cloth with the lumbar supports for both seats. But didn't get the wide version...the brackets are made for our cars and are extra...
Backets are here...

you need to order one for the drivers and then one for the passanger.
If you have any other questions just ask..

Mine have not gone in the car yet, but I have heard that they are kinda high. Most people just modified these to make them sit a little lower. Since I am going to lower my car anyway, I figure if I am a little high it won't kill me. But we will see once it is in there.
wow that place is expensive........for my seats and brackets i would have had to pay a fortune. the bracket price is comparable but the seats.......ouch!!
says they do charge shipping too which makes it even higher. glad it worked out for you but man is it pricey, you could get bride for that price.
anyhow i have yet to trip test mine....at first site and feel they are fine, however especially the leather option they are a bit stiffer being new....we'll see in a month or two with some mileage.

A little expensive, I know. However, they are the cheapest place online. I went to a couple other places and they were more expensive than this place.
Are the ones you have Corbeau? I didn't see the decal on yours?
And shipping IS free. Look at the top of the first link I put. If you follow the link is says....
Available for a LIMITED time. Free shipping via UPS GROUND for all orders in the continental United States.
Funny thing is that it has been a limited time for about a year.

nope i just like to pretend they are corbeau!

the trs leather seats don't have any embroidery which is why i got them. i wish the corbeau harnesses didn't have the logo either but what can one do??
as far as the brackets, the thirdgen brackets aren't necessarily a waste of money as they are the cheapest out there but they need to be reworked. i had to chop 2" off of mine so the seats sat somewhat right and they are still a bit high but it's because the seats are a tad taller then what i had in there as well.
with the brackets the way they were i hit my head on the roof without trying....couldn't imagine with a helmet. corbeau and they're design team need to learn a thing or two.
seems there is never anything that just bolts on to our cars....

Maybee they changes the brackets because mine are about 1.5in tall. I guess I could cut out about 1in, but not too much more than that.
i have just room to get an open end wrench in to bolt them down....here is how they sit regularly. it would have been virtually impossible for me to drive my car without modifying the brackets or shaving the seat material.
if you buy the corbeau brackets? yes they bolt up very easily. i took 1 1/2" out of my bracket and they still sit a bit high for me but at least my head isn't on the roof like stock. the seats themselves have a taller "butt" area so naturally they make you sit higher. i have them as low as possible but i would like them slightly lower.

I wonder if Corbeau knows?
