DIY paint job.

not exactly Thirdgen related but might end up being. i come here to ask because you guys know your stuff.

i am getting a 1979 Ford Bronco for free. it is completly rust free, has a 3" lift but is in primer right now and needs a new paint job. along with some body work. im looking for a site that gives good tips and info on doing this that or if you guys can give me some tips and info that would be great. i have access to the tools and resources to do it so that isnt a problem.

sand it all the way down as far as you can go, primer doesnt seal against water, so there will be rust under the primer, so hit it with a da with some 100 grit, then 220, reprime, by now it should all be done with body work and ready for paint....

how many layers of each(primer, base, clear) should i use. also any tips to make it look the best. i dont want to spend a whole lot on a paint job but i dont want it to look like total crap ither. i dont plan on wet sanding it too much as orange peel wont bother me on this vehicle. its gonna be pretty much my beater vehicle. thanks for any tips. also there are some spots that i will end up having to use bondo on prolly any tips on how to get that to look good also?
