Ground Effects

Hey,
I have an '87 camaro. I was looking to put ground effects on it but I was looking in a '92 camaro and the mounting system looked completly different. So what I would like to know is if they are completly different or is there a mounting bracket of some sort that mounts them in place. thanks

oh its totally do-able. a lot of people around here have done the 91-92 GFX on their pre 90 f cars. i like the TA door effects on the camaro body style, i saw a picture of that and thought it was really sweet looking.

I'm just finishing up putting 91-92's on my 89. Its not too hard, you gotta drill some holes and elongate some others, but its pretty basic. Pics are on my webpage, link is in the sig.

boy, everyone loves the 91-92 gfx. pretty soon its gonna be rare to have 82-84 gfx . Its gettting to be like a shelby cobra. more fakes than real ones. But i have to admit that the gfx look the best . But i also think the 85-90 dont look too bad.

So do you think that I should put the 92 ground effects on? Any suggestions...

you own a base model body also? heh i love having the bare body. people always think my car is a 6 or a 150 hp 305 when they see it (has a lot to do with the fact that its on stands in the driveway) but when i pop the hood or they look under it and see the chassy, they change their mind. not to mention they are a bit lighter without the GFX and all the power options. the only option my car had was tilt wheel. perfect car to build up
