how do i take off the rear spoiler on my 86 camaro, there are these flat rubber pieces and i dont know how to take them off.

 

on my 85 there were plastic plugs in the underside of the deck that hides the bolts 10mm socket i belive. the plastic plugs just pop out with a small screwdriver.

then there should be 3 bolts in the spare well and glove box for the side ones. sometimes there is seal sealer on them that makes getting the socket on em tough just pick that stuff off first.

thanks, now underneath will it be nasty? am i looking at paint damage? i know there might be a rust spot or two, the car has a slightly bad rust problem :/ but i got it for 600 so hey, whatever

 

inside the trunk should be under your plastic interior panel.

oh and yes the paint will be junky under the spoiler.

well today my friend decided to back my car out of a parking space at an apartment complex, didnt reailze it didnt have power steering and hit a pole backing up smashing the spoiler in half, i was so pissed, i took it off figured that if anything ican get a fiberglass kit and fix it but i don tknow, where is there a good place to find replacement ones?
