need to fix
ok I was at the boneyard and I picked up a dash pad in pretty good shape, there are only two problems with it that I'm hoping are repairable so I won't feel like an idiot for buying it. the first is the speaker covers are missing, is that a big deal? the second is the one I'm concerned about, the back left corner is all chewed up, is that fixable if so, how? I would like to get it into decent enough shape to sell (or trade for a left taillight with no cracks)
anyway thanx for any input

Im not sure that you can fix the speaker cover on the dash I highly doubt it. Look on ebay for the left tail light they sell them there pretty cheap.

The speaker grills look like they are meant to come out, You'd have to find a set to put back in there. However, that corner looks like repairable. I hope you paid $5 at most for that.

the speaker grills for a firebird pad are easy enough to replace. As for the damage, it'll be very hard to sell and no repair that's feasible would make it more sellable. If you were going to use it, i'd suggest fitting a piece of black vinyl in and using some adhesive since it isn't in a terribly visible area of the pad. From far away it wouldn't stand out much but upclose it'll be obvious so matter what you do short of spending tons of money having it professionally recovered.
