lower hinge slop
I've read through the archives, forgive me if this is a repeat post...
I've just replaced the pin/bushings on my door (just bought a used Camaro) that were very badly worn. I'm ordering a top hinge repair kit also. The problem on the bottom however is the pin does not rotate like it should--in other words, instead if movement between the pin and the bushing, I have movement between the door half of the hinge and the pin. Im sure the hinge is probably ovaled by now, and of course it is welded to the door (thankyou GM !). Any suggestions on a fix for this?
Thanks for reading.
