carpet insulation pics?

carpet insulation pics?

i took my interior out and my carpet was soaked and dirty, so i scrubbed it with carpet cleaner and hosed it off, then carried it up 4 flights of stairs and the insulation fell off.
anyone have a pic of the carpet insulation? i dont know how this goes back together

didn't take any of the bottom of my carpet sorry, but if you put it on the insulation on the floor first it should fall in place nicely, but I would consider new insulation if it was wet for a long time.

You have to put something morel under there or you will grow mold. Unless it was dried immediately.

I'd replace it - should be easy enough.

Sorry for the typo. I meant, unless you put something more under there...as in add some type of anti-bacterial/anti-fungal agent. I don't think baking soda is used to prevent mold - but I could be wrong.

I know that when a house gets flooded and the carpet is wet for a couple hours, restoration companies use various special chemicals when trying to save the carpet and prevent the occupants from getting sick. I know that this situation is different, but just to be safe you may want to look into it.

its called a "BIOSIDE" that is what gets put on carpets to kill mold spores and prevent future growth to a point. its a liquid find something with biosides in it and spray it down let it dry completely and spray it again to be safe and let it air dry and installl
