The ones that you saw were probably a custom job or generic ones designed to fit in any car that uses the square headlights like most eighties cars. Your best bet would be to check either E-bay or your local tuner(*****) shops. I remember seeing some on a Volvo parts sight one time that would fit any car that used that style of headlight. I forgot what the website was, I sold my 240 before I got around to dropping a 302 into it.

Just so you know it's not a sealed projector lens. The lens is just put in a standard h4 conversion headligh with nothing to force the light completely through the lens. It goes through the lens and around it. If you wanted it to only go through the lense you'd have to open the thing up and seal up the lense itself.

Hella has some replacement headlights with h series bulbs instead of sealed beam lights. I know these aren't projectors, just another option.

Problem with those H4 conversions on my 91 Formula was they kept collecting water and then blowing up the bulbs. Even cracked the front lens whem one of them blew. I switched over to the Silverstars as a result......

Yikes, where did you buy your conversion lense? I've never had any problem with mine (I've got the ones pictured above) and I like near Seattle (water is a large problem )

Werd. Only problem I had with my ebay H4 conversion was a rock that hit the pass side lowbeam. Other than that, the bulbs are going on 3 years old and no problems yet. I just like the look of the projector lense. The one pictured is a slightly diff design, I believe I have seen sealed units out there. But in any event, they are more what I am looking for over the standard H4 convo

I bought a set of Hella conversions from these guys:
http://www.rallylights.com/hella/headlamps.htm
This was the only place that I found name-brand conversions for both hi/lo and hi beams.
I bought a pair of Philips Vision Plus H4 and H1 from these guys:
http://www.suvlights.com/
If you go with Silverstar bulbs, get the Osram/Sylvania (euro spec), not the plain (USA) Sylvania bulbs.

what's the difference between the conversion kits that look flat like a mirror, and the ones that look multi-faceted(like all the new cars' headlights)?? the pic above looks different than most conversion kits... I wonder which design works better (looks better?)
