Says it's the high rise, but it doesn't look right... what is it really?

It's the spoiler that came on the '88 sc's I believe. I think it would be awesome if it actually went to the edge of the car, instead of just on the decklid. That really really ruins it for me hehe. I'm sure you've seen it before

for the first part of 88 the sc's got the spoiler then they changed back to the 3 peice, so they are a bit hard to find but not exactly "rare"

I have an '88 SC with the shorty wing. It doesn't look like the one in the picture. It's not quite that tall, and it has two supports at thirds in the center.

That spoiler can be summed up in one word: CRAP

That thing didn't come on any 3rdgen and its certainly not a replica of anything 3rdgen. Look at it bowing in the center.

Blech; eBay needs to start verifying the auction's authenticity - Its getting really bad.

Yeah, that is NOT the 88 SC spoiler. I don't think I've ever seen that spoiler on a thirdgen.

Every 92 RS came with the same 3 piece spoiler that GM has used since 82. If your RS has something different, it's not stock.

That *might* be a Fiero spoiler, but I'm not sure. It's definately not anything that ever came stock on a thirdgen.

It looks to me like they cut off the two middle pieces of a high rise spoiler and then someone sat on it . Could be wrong, though. Maybe I should drive down to Anderson (only 30 minutes away from Greenville) and see what it really is.

EDIT: Actually, now that I look at it again, it couldn't be a high rise. Nevermind my post.
