Saturday some lady decided to make a left turn in front of me .I couldn't stop in time she stoped right in front of me.I hit
I hit her front bumper then was bounced onto the curb hit a street
sign and missed a telephone pole by about 3",then i finaly came to a stop.I sat in the car for about 5 min.when the cops finaly
came to the scene and first thing he asked me was how fast I was going.I replied I don't know of course.He never asked if I was O.K.When I got out and looked at my car the front left wheel
was pushed under the car it was just a mess the trans was pushed in reverse by the curb the frame is bent I lost a very good friend.Me and my daughter worked on this car for 3 years.I got it like I wanted it.When we got it from the inpound yard and took it
home my daughter was sitting on the steps crying like she lost her best friend,then when the tow truck driver was taking it off
the truck she cried like i've never seen her do before.It broke my heart.I can't beleave that my baby is totaled.It has only 63k and all the options.The book on it is $5,700 I don't know what I'm going to do next.Me and my daughter are so hurt what shame.

My condolences. Though, think of it this way... you will get another opportunity to bond with your daughter when you build up another car together. Plus, there's nothing hotter than a chick who knows how to work on cars (to me atleast lol), so you'll be settin her up w/ good skills

Plus, it might show your daughter that you have to be espescially careful when you drive, because idiots are everywhere and they're all just mindless lemmings.

Thats a shame man I know what its like. I totalled my 50k mile RS a few years ago. From one man thats totalled a nice ride and bought another...... Fix your car!!! Its really alot easier and depending on the damage it wont be too much if you do the work yourself.

 

I would fix it but the frame is bent.I haven't heard from her insurance company yet.

ohh yea, i'm tottally w/ 90% of drivers are lemmings! and i know this because i work on roadways and toll facilities.... there will be like 10 lanes, and only 3 of them are being used because everyone plays 'follow the leader'

btw, who are the insurance companies claiming 'fault' too?

 

Time to teach the daughter how to build a tube-framed drag car.
