RPO Codes (unavailable)

Greetings. Does anyone know where I would be able to locate RPO codes that are not available in the RPO Database? I have 6 codes that I am trying to locate with no luck. They are E7Z, MX0, M0D, P84, UUB, and 1HV. Thanks for the assistance.

I believe MXO is an automatic transmission specifically the 700R4.

Does your car have the Bose stereo? If so, UUB is actually UU8.

MX0 = Merchandised Transmission Auto Provisions (O/D)

If P84 is actually PB4, it would = Lock Control, Wheel.

If I remember correctly, E7Z = VSS delete

Cars with the E7Z option had the VSS (Vehicle Speed Sensor) deleted from the transmission. Along with this RPO code you should also have E5Z & E9Z as well. Follow the link below and you will find more RPO codes for the GM vehicles.

I've researched the MX0/MXO code as much as I could on the Internet and through a couple friends at various dealerships, and there are basically no clear answers to it. I know for a fact that I have MX0 (zero) and not the letter O, and I have reason to believe that MX* codes all end in a number. For what it's worth, the below is what I've concluded; there are possibly two RPOs. Mind you, I could be wrong and there is only one, but this is what I have:

MXO (this is the letter "oh") : MERCHANDISED, TRANS, AUTO PROVISIONS, O/D

MX0 (this is a zero) : MERCHANDISING OPTION ONLY-DO NOT CATALOG

This is not the actual RPO describing the trans in the car; MD8 is the 700-R4 automatic trans RPO. If you have a different RPO starting with M, that would be your trans, but you may want to double-check M0D. I don't think that is right.

Hello Firebird90,

I think if you would check again, you will find that what you have listed for RPO code E7Z is actually RPO code E9Z. There were 3 codes in this group.

E5Z= Speedo Adapter (delete)
E7Z= Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) (delete)
E9Z= Speedometer Key (delete)
