Hmmmmm...............
I have been reading about chrome and black chrome and such but what I really want to know is what color paint would you use to ...............................wait hold on go get a pencil and a peice of paper.....................................you back? Good! Now draw a square and color it in with the pencil..........................done? Now hold it up to the light and look at the color and shine. My question is how could I paint my car to kook like that? Anybody know if there is a paint out there that looks just like that?

sure you could do that easy
step 1) sand car down to bare metal
step 2) go to the store
step 3) buy a whole lotta pencils
step 4) start scribbling your car in
seriously though, i dont know, but i think that would be kinda cool
I bet you could get away with it if you went with a gun-metal gray and had the metallic flakes in it too.

Generally, pencil 'lead' anymore is made from graphite... which might be the color you're looking for. Slightly darker than gunmetal grey but, not by much.

goto a dodge dealer near you and take a look at the graphite color they are using for 2004 (not sure what other years they used it for), looks very nice to me

I had a similar color in mind when I painted mine, but if you're going to stick with a standard base coat/clear coat job, you have to just find a color thats close in the Dupont catalog or the 3M or whatever, mine ended up a little lighter than I had imagined (see sig), but I still really like it.
Freaky colors and textures will run you into a LOT of money if you want it done right, and believe me - you want it done right.

in addition to Dodge, I've also seen some newer Grand Prixs in a darker graphite color. I think the darker silvers/greys will get popular in the next few years, but i'm still happy with my choice of Platinum
