I have a 91 Firebird Headlight cover on my 90 Formula (same as all 82-90's) I had to modify one of the mounting tabs (aka remove it) to fit it to my headlight assembly. it's the drivers side one with the PONTIAC stamped into it. I think i am going to put the stock smooth one back on though.

but other then that one little mod it's identical in shape? I heard the 91-92 style are more angled since tey have a flush nose.

I always assumed the 91-92 headlight doors were shorter to clear the nose. They're not- they're exactly the same dimensions. It's the guts inside that are different so when the lights rotate, the assembly doesn't hit the nose (since it's straight across unlike 82-90's that have a notch in front of the headlight).

My stock 83 lights hit the 91 nose so I took off the h/l bezels which helped a lot, but they still would catch on the front lip of the nose sometimes. I changed to 91 lights and now it's fine.
