Is it Salvageable? With Pics..large pics...

I have been attempting to restore an 88 firebirdfor awhile..now that i finally got all of the parts, I was going to attempt to put the front end back together...the only problem is that when I was looking at the car today, it appears that the the passender side mount for the bumper support is about 1-2 inches higher than the drivers side...the thing is, beside the rad. support having a small dent in it, and a small like "ripple" in the pass. wheel well, I cant notice anything that would make it two inches higher...I dont know if I should I attempt to put this thing back together or what....

more than likely it has some shape or form of frame damage and with our cars being unibody you just cant bolt it off and on. It is salvagable depending on the money you want to spend to get it pulled. Try to find a body shop that does frame pulling and get an estimate.

A wreck no matter how minor looking can do horrible things to a car.

I figured as much, I am still hoping it is something less serious though...If not...time to part out and look for a new bird with a straight body...

If for any reason you're looking for a new f-bod, my friend is selling his '87 GTA. PM me if you are interested. In my opinion, the damage doesn't look too bad in the pic, but if one side of the car is 2 inches higher, it sounds like it could cost a pretty penny.

Good luck fixing, hopefully a little pulling here and there at the body shop. When you do get it straight, brace the heck out of everything.

Oh and nice wheels Red92Bird, are those Torqthrust II's?
