Console modifying?

I've got a question.
Can you take an automatic console from a 4th gen, and change it over to a manual? because i see automantics go for like 100bux less than manual ones! so yea thats my question...i want one for my car...but i dont want to fork out the load of cash

Don't see why not, basically the only thing that you should change is the shifter plate.

As I mentioned earlier the consoles are the same between the manual and automatics. The only difference being the shifter plate. Go to a junkyard and find a nice one unless you prefer to have a brand new one.
