To Spray....or Not To Spray?
As some of you guys know, I changed the color of my interior plastic and stereo equipment to a dark ebony/graphite color to match my SS seats. My door sill plates and my kick panels are still the original light grey. Should I spray those to match the rest....or would that be to much of a color contrast with the carpet? I'll post pictures here in a few mintues. Thanks

that photoshop pic made me decide to spray'em tomorrow! Thanks man
BTW guys, this spray isn't just "Black" it's graphite/ebony...so if I started adding black parts...it wouldn't match

you should get black carpet, sail panels, headliner, and visors
I had the all of that redone about 2 years ago, not knowing that I would eventually change the interior. Plus....that roll bar isn't coming out anytime soon unless I have to get it out for some major reason....that thing was the hardest thing I've installed on the car....
I really wish the 4th gen door panels would fit with the 3rd gen dash...but..I heard they don't match the 3rd gen dash at all

well, I have class today...so..when I get back..I'll more then likely take the door sills and the kick panels out and spray them. Last night I sprayed my seats belts...and they look pretty good...they match much better

I picked up a can of it last night and I was very impressed with it untill I clearcoated it. But I will get more of it and do my stuff over again cause it looks great without the clear.
84custom where did you get flat clear? All I can find is gloss.

I know exaclty what you mean...if it's not flat...it looks kind of "cheap". I looked EVERYWHERE for flat clear..and had no luck. So..I went to the hobby section...where model car paints are kept...and Testors makes a "Dull Coat" clear. It's about 3 bucks for a small can...but so far....it's the only thing I've found..and it works great. I sprayed the rest of the plastic tonight..and I'll post pictures in a few

This is paint...but it's also a coating. It can be used on tool boxes....bed liners...stuff like that. It's very durable. I mean...if it's scratched hard enough, it will come off.....but..I won't be hauling anything. I've very happy with it...it goes on rough...and has a rough texture...it's not slick or anything at all. You could be a horrible painter and spray this coating. It applies easy with little effort.

So this dull flat does not make it look real dark with glitter it stays more like it looks with no clear? I may just end up not clearing mine and just keep a can handy for touch up if nessasary cause I absolutly love the way it refects the light and turns that shiny pencil lead color
