the time has finally come i am repainting my car with all house of kolor products!!
last night i applied the KP2CF primer and friday i will commence the rest of the paint
here is the combination:
kandy teal with fushica mini metal flake flames on the nose extending into the hood
the flames will then be outlined in a slime green color

you should use an innercoat clear they sell. you do the base then let it set up and then the inter coat clear then you can safely tape and do you flames then clear after that. i think the tech manual even states to use it for taping directly over the base so you don;t get lift of the base. better check your sheets before you start. i also think there is a window for clear if you wait more than 24 hours you need to scuff the base reshoot and then clear with in the window. but i could be wrong been like 10 months since i last painted.

yep I finally got to see some of my hok kandy apple red go on my car yesterday!!! Just the door jambs, but after waiting four long months, just the sight of the red had me drooling over what the rest of the car will look like soon enough

yea I love the pics of it on your car too! I had a chance to see it on a impala and it looked awesome in person (candy really doesnt do justice in pics). I was considering that color, but since my car was maroon before I figured I'd stick with something red....pics soon enough I hope

kandy is real nice just hard as hell to spray.. and once you goof its back to the sand paper. i found a trick of swapping spray gun head direction from side to side to up and down between each coats helps it be nice n even if your a amature painter like me...
my car was blue so it stayed in the same area.. there are some real nice candy reds out there. see the new vette wow that has a candy red color on it and man does it pop. i think it was close to the color of Kandie91z car. real sweet.
