Go to pep boys and get a spray adhesive for upholstery...I've seen it there. If not at Home Depot they sell 3M Super 77 which is good too and its also spray on, just read the instructions on back.

DO NOT use Super 77 on headliners! Use only the ones I listed above or equivelent. Refer to the headliner FAQ link in my signature above.

I used Alymers Super Spray on Adhesive, as long as theres something clean to stick to its awesome. I've had it on my winter beater for almost 3 years, and hasn't come down yet

3M...There is a super strong version Wally World used to sell. Though since they have become Super Wal-mart, they have become super sorry in their ability to carry all the variety of stock they used to... I think the good stuff was # 93...they stuff they have now is # 88. I thried to use the Permatex stuff and was sorely disappointed!

3M 77 is not designed for high temp applications, and it is also not meant for a permanent solution If I remmber right it was designed to be removed...

3M 90 Works pretty well,

There is actually a Headliner spray adhesive that works great, its designed for high temp applications, (which is what you need since the Sun gets pretty hot.)

THat headliner article sounds like the way to go too

3M General Trim Adhesive is the replacement for 3M's Headliner Adhesive, which was discontinued about 2 years ago. Fast Tack is the same as General adhesive, it just dries faster.

3M 90 Adhesive will work fine for anyone that doesn't see hot summers, but if you can get the General Trim adhesive, go with that.

This is the first I've heard of Permatex being a disappointment, but not many people have used it.
