hatch pull down vertical plastic slider guides
the part of the pulldown assembly where it rides in the two grooves and has white plastic guides, if the guides are missing then does that mean the assembly is junk ? them missing causes the latch parts of the assembly to be sloppy loose in the main assembly
vertical tracks
thanks

The plastic slides or guides will run you around $22.95 and the plastic nut is $7.00 if you want to get that as well. I just ordered a set from Lonsal on monday and hope to get them about friday. Then I can finally put the hatch down and take the weed-eater line out. Thank goodness I have a carport.

I got about 10 of the plastic nuts out of some Cadillacs when I was in the bone yard. Should give me about a 20 year supply.

Hatch release is located on the center console just below the shifter.
Installing is easy once you get the parts in
in the correct order. The owner of TDS sent me an installation guide as a link,
but a haven't figured out how to do that yet.(its a PDF) let me know if you need it
and i'll get it up here for ya somehow.
It was very helpful, Step by Step, pictures..

Anyone can download most of the instructions for the products I sell from my web site. The nylon guides are TDS p/n 101170. The instructions are in the "Documentation" section in the lower right side of the main page.

If the car came with the hatch release switch, it would be in the center console between the two power window switchs. There were some models that did not have the power windows or hatch release switch option. There were also others that had the power windows but not the hatch release switch.
