4th gen Seat Belts in 3rd gen Camaro

Sorry if this was posted in another thread, but i am changing my interior color to black and i came across some 2002 trans-am front seat belts and i was wondering if there was a way to make them fit in my 3rd gen camaro. my problem is that the 3rd gen seat belts have two motors and the 4th gen has one. so what is the solution to that?

4th gen front and rear seatbelts have been put into 3rd gens and they truely just bolt in. Lacking the bottom retractor doesn't make a functional difference. Depending on how picky you are, the bottom trim may not look perfect because of the notch and tabs in the door sill plate for the retractor. One option is to get sill plates from an 82 or 83 f-body. They actually used a top retractor only system in those years so there's just a little slot for the belt to come through on the bottom as it is in 4th gens.

I tore the plastic trim off of my old belts and used them to cover up that notch in my door sills. I just have to glue them down. I reccomend the swap, I love the new belts.

Is there anything special about hooking up the rear shoulder belts? I'd like to have those in (they came with the set of 4th gen seats I got) but I suppose I'll have to hunt down the buckles for them.

BTW, souperman, how much did that set of belts cost you?

i got 02 black leather seats front and back plus all the seat belts for 450 from synergy motorsports, i have tried everything to just to bolt the new seatbelts in but its not going to happen. the motor on the roof bolts right in but the bottom is my problem its supposed to bolt to the side, but the plate where the old motor was mounted is totally wrong for the situation. i will take pictures of it, it is to hard to explain.

Unbolt that bracket, its like 3 screws. You may want to remove the seats for ALOT of room to work, but its not necessary.

There should be. Did you even look? It's not like its going to be hiding on you. It either right underneath the bracket or its not.
