I posted this a few months ago and every one said check the seals well i checked them they are fine no leaks anywere. When ever it rains really hard i get water on my drivers side floor.

Im wondering if maybe a drain hole mighr be clogged in my vents? I can not figure out were that water goes that ended up in the plastc vent outside the car could it be leaking in from there. I am going to be putting new carpet in soon and i want to pin point this so it does not trash my new carpet.

i noticed when i took my car of the road and pulled out the carpet there was some water, not alot but it was still damp on hte passangers side. i couldnt find where it was comming from either. and i barely ever drove my car in rain. only when it was the only option (when the daily beater wouldnt start)

I think you hinted at it, but check the cowl drains. I haven't had to deal with this on a thirdgen, but on some of my older cars, the cowl drains were the issue for water leaks into the passenger compartment. Might even be a rust hole in there from leaves and crap getting stuck and retaining moisture against the steel. I guess you could check this by using a hose to spray into the cowl area only...if you see a leak, then voila, culprit identified.
