Since the 82-92 console had places for the window and trunk release buttons, where do you put these when you update to a 97 and later console?

What kind of switches do you use????

when i added my hatch pop, i mounted it to the dash...my car originally didn't come w/ one, and there was an ice spot on the left side of the drivers dash, just under the vent i suspect, i put it there. I can't rmember however, since i now just use the 4th gen hatchpop seutp.

I think that they look the best inside the ash tray/coin holder.

i bought a convertible top switch plate from the dealer for a camaro. you have to do a lil filing to the hole, but the hatch pos switch will pop in and stay.
the plate replaces the coin/junk tray.
like 4 bucks at the dealer. make SURE you get the right color.

not sure of the part #, its installed on the car.
just go to the dealer and tell them you have a convertible camaro, and you need a cover plate for the covertible top switch.
97-99 are grey
00-02 are ebony
AT and 6spd are different so specify.
