Z-28 Hood

Is a $100 a pretty decent price for a near mint condition Z-28 hood?

the night before i took the trip i asked a cop in my town if it was illegal to drive w/o a hood, he told me it was fine to drive w/o a hood, theres no reason why you can't IMO

I'm pretty sure around here you need to have fenders and a hood on the car while driving, but I don't know why. It's not like a thin piece of sheet metal is going to stop a rod at 6000rpm.

Must vary state to state I guess...

In most states it is illegal to drive without a hood. You have to have it incase you lose and oil line, or any other type of fluid for that matter. It would instantly go on to your windshied and you would be skrewd...... Wipers don't take oil off of glass.....
