Finished my Interior (pics)

Well, almost. I still have to install my headliner and stereo. But so far I have installed an ACC carpet (used), front and rear seats from a '91 Formula, new seatbelts from Kandied91z, a B&M megashifter, dyed my interior panels black, installed ttop/roof gaskets from OER, and got new armrests. Here are the pics!

Thanks man.

I didn't have enough money for a black carpet, so I did that instead. I think it came out pretty nice, and it mixes things up a bit

I agree, I don't think I've ever seen that two-color carpet scheme before. I think it's a great look.

That looks great. I wouldnt think the red carpet/black trim would look good, but it does. How do you like that MegaShifter?

I used Dupli Color gloss black vinyl/fabric/plastic dye. I did some prep work and I think it came out great. It will scratch if you try to intentionally, but its actually pretty durable.

Reason for the grey seatbelts is because I couldn't find black ones anywhere. Jeff gave me a REALLY good deal on them that i couldn't pass up. I also dyed the seatbelt receivers and the bases for the seatbelts as you can see in the pics.

Thanks for the comments everyone, i'm still kind of in shock that it has a presentable interior now.... i drove all last year with that old one and it was horrible.

I love the Megashifter. 10x better than that stock junk

Lookin forward to the car shows this year

I saw some on Ebay but there weren't anywhere near in as good of shape as these.

Josh I actually picked it up at Autozone. I think its 3.99 a can or something like that. My bro is a manager down at Grafton street so go down there I bet they have some.

Ive been watching the black seat belts sale on ebay for 3rd gens. If u want a complete set front and rear and all the stuff that goes with them 100+ seen some reach $175 thats outrageuos. Its getting to be hard to find a decent deal on ebay people go wild with bids.

It is outrageous. Especially when they are worn looking with busted up receivers. Lets just say that i paid less for my seatbelts than it would cost me to fill up my gastank

Thanks everyone for the comments

Nice job, the black looks awesome.

I was wondering though, I have the same carpet color and I need to purchase more. Do you have the RPO Code for the carpet and/or name of the color. I would appreciate the help. Thanks.

Sorry man I don't have a code as I got the carpet from a friend. However i beleive the color is called "Carmine Red". Its not very bright, has sort of a darker tint to it.

Yeah, eBay is not the place to buy seatbelts. You can usually get a good deal at the junkyard on interior stuff. I actually answered an ad in the paper & bought the whole interior out of an 89 Formula for $100-- nice black cloth seats, door panels, seatbelts, all the plastic and the rear carpet. Of course after you add in the cost of the new front carpet, dashpad, steering wheel, GTA doorpanels, fiberglass headliner, etc... I invested a bunch more than the original $100. But it's worth it knowing the ugly grey vinyl is gone.

I think the red carpet and the black console look great together. I'm workin on changing my interior from grey to black. I already replaced the carpet with brand new black. i'm redoing my rear panels myself, dont know how their going to look. I plan on dye'in the door panels and painting the door sil plates and kick panels. I tore the grey carpet off of the denter console and i'm going to carpet it in black. all i need are some black seats and seatbelts and i'll be ready.

looks like i'll be headin to autozone or somewhere soon to buy my supplies. thanks for the tips.
