new cloth seat skins

i just scored a set of tan high-back '94 camaro buckets out of a junk yard that are in pretty good shape. i am putting them in an 86 regal that is getting a third-gen console(until i can find a 4th gen or something else nice) and obviously, camaro seats but the interior is gray. all the the places i find online only seem to sell leather skins for them but i am trying to keep cost down since i am already in the hole as it is. does anyone know of a place that sells gray cloth skins for 4th gen seats? i have found nothing in my searches here so i thought i would just throw it out there and see if anyone knew. thanks for any help.

justseatcovers.com question...

I checked the page, and their fabric looks good. Do you have first-hand experience with the fit of their kits? They have a sale through the 31st and I would like to get a set at the reduced price if they look good. Thanks much!

They may be cheaper, but I must admit, they look terrible!

Nothing like the OEM coverings at all.

I would stick with Hawks. The new seat covers are excellent as posted by plenty of people here on the boards.

Night and day difference then I guess...

Thanks for the tip. I think that for what the genuine covers pull in I will simply pass on the idea for now. My driver's seat only has a 1.5" slice from sunlight and the usual ingress/egress wear and tear, but it won't be small for much longer. For what covers bring in I can save a little more and get a driver's seat to hold me in, since the passenger has far less wear (actually appears new).

Thanks again, johnjm22 and Sonar_un.

What do you mean they look terrible? The stuff looks fine to me.

Yeah they look nothing like the OEM coverings because there not trying to look like the OEM coverings.

There just seat covers made for your specific vehicle. Not replications of they originals.

i actually just ordered them(justseatcovers) and then after a few hours of thought changed my mind....hope they get the email and cancel the order cause i don't wanna deal with that headache at all. for the price of a set of skins at hawks i could buy another set of front buckets and still have money left over so i think i will just keep looking. the problem is i only need the fronts unless i find a way to stretch the rear seat back skin over a g-body back seat back and weld a nut into the floor to accept f-body rear bucket type seats. it is a work in progress but i got a little excited with the whole deal. i am considering contacting hawks and seeing if they could cut me a deal on just a set of front bucket skins though i doubt that is going to happen. anyone know of anyone trying to unload a set of 4th gen gray cloth(preferably) front buckets and/or willing to trade for tan?

Understood. FWIW I didn't think they were going to look exactly like the ones from Hawks. My driver seat just started to decay so I began looking around for ideas. Do you have any pics?

Thanks in any case. Discussions like this bring out valuable info. At least for me.
