4th gen seats and belt loops

I installed a set of 4th gen seats (94 TA, I think) but they have no belt loop. The headrests look like a deflated basketball not like the thin ones that were on my GTA seats. Anyway, can somebody post a photo of how those loops attach to the headrest. I purchased the correct loops, but any pictures I've seen appear to have another piece that the loop mounts to, as opposed to screwing directly into the headrest. I can post a photo (the car is parked off site or I'd do it now) of the headrest if nobody know of what I write. Thanks as always.

they do go directly into the headrest like 3rd gen ones do.....unfortunatly they dont 'split' down the middle, allowing you to feed the seatbelts into the loop. Im still trying to figre that one out....and I may just end up swapping out my new ones for the ones that were on my stock seats

I took a hacksaw to the ones on my old 4th gen cloth seats. I cut at the very top of the first curve, and after I cleaned it up with some 800 grit sandpaper. You couldnt even tell there was a cut there.

Mine aren't cut either. I think I'll do it between the screw holes. My headrests are a little different than that first photo (Camaroguy18), as there is a hard plastic casing around the back half with the leather in the front.

If you get the ones for a convertible they will have the slits in the bottom of the loop. The one's I got are grey but the dealer should be able to find the color you want by these numbers as they will be close.

Unbolt the seatbelt from the floor and thread through the loop, reattach torx bolt. Make sure you have the orientation the way you want it before you tighten everything up or it'll wind up twisted a few times. The loop cracked on my drivers side on my 99 all the time.

Edit: I noticed in the photo that the reel is on the floor and not in the ceiling like my fourth gen. My bad!
