Ive seen a few people asking about rolling fenders to fit bigger wheels/tires. Welp i found this nifty tool.. maybe it wil help someone out.

That's a pretty good tool. Unfortunatly $300 is alot of money for something when most people will just use a hammer

 

Fender Rolling Machines are pretty nifty. My local club just split the cost of renting one (think it was around $15/person) and it does a beautiful job. Much better than the crappy hammer and guess method. Makes a perfect, even crease that sometimes looks cleaner than stock.

 

You'd have to be doing that a LOT to justify spending that much cash. I need to get mine rolled whenever i get my 17X11 ZR1's installed (kinda need the money for tires and spacers - rearend rebuild was more important). Im just gonna go to a body shop, im sure it wont cost quite that much.. i hope...

 

Just roll the car forward with a baseball bat between the tire and the fender like they did in the old days.

 

hell yeah, the baseball bat trick works mint! I could do a better job faster with a bat than I could with that thing.

 

 

bat works fine unless you have paint you dont want to risk chipping

 

the paint wont chip but the heavy bondo layers will

 

If it's going to chip, it's going to chip. I can't see any particular method being better than any others in that case.
