These have been discontinued, so it's a matter of supply and demand; I'd snag 'em if I had the cash because I'm restoring my '89 and I don't know of any aftermarket shops that carry these emblems or the rear panel 'IROC-Z' emblem in silver/gray.

Anyone who knows where to find new/reproduction silver/gray 'IROC-Z' rocker and rear panel emblems should feel free to share the info

I wonder if you took them to a sign shop would they be able to reproduce the emblems accurately, if so snag these ones off ebay and have a bunch made so you can make a killing

I guess you could call it that; I've always known it as Bright Blue Metallic

89_IROC is right, they were discontinued a long time ago. I did a lot of calling around and found these two at 2 different dealerships. They were around $60/ea. As more time goes on and the fact GM is not authorizing anyone to make these, if you want some you better snag them. BTW mine have been for sale, $200 firm. A lot of people have been offering me a $100 for mine, as the auction shows they are worth more. It will be interesting to see what they go for on Ebay. If I don't sell them I will keep them since they are not taking up a lot of space.

I'd snag those in a quick minute if I weren't broke due to this restoration - since that's the case (and has been for some time), I just refurbished my originals

I am curious, however, to know how stalin05 made his...

PS - Those are beautiful emblems, chevyguy!

Not at the moment that is the only set that I have, but in the future I will be selling them as sets just like what you see, 1 Nose Badge, 1 Dash Badge, 2 Rocker Badges & 1 Rear Bumper Badge!

um, yea.... ill have to keep an eye on you. id get them, then powercoat them black and silver, to try and mimic a stock emblem. i think that would set them off even more. im not much of a flash guy, so you prolly think im crazy.

Rocker Emblems

I'm replacing mine (missing) with used ones. The used ones are a little scratched up so i need to polish these. Does any one know of the best way to polish the rocker emblems gently without destroying them. The ones i have are gold and somewhat rare also - I cannot find new ones.

Thanks, Cocacolakidd.

marine shop might be a better bet. they stock it for cleaning plastic windows and stuff on boats.
i could tell you to wetsand them and use some other personal tricks i do.... but i wouldnt do anything to the emblems you didnt have to.
irreplaceable.

the polish may not bring them to the shine that you can achieve by other means.... but its 100% safe and will look 110% better.
good luck!
