Rear seat delete boxes?

I am completely replacing everything in my interior. I have seen people post about rear seat delete boxes from time to time that go in the wells where the seat bottoms are.

Does anyone know where I can find these? My hopes is I may be able to install two 10's or maybe even one 12" and have the amp submerged in the other one. These are just ideas for now though.

If anyone knows where to find em I would appreciate your assistance. Thanks!

I took my rear seats out, planning to put a 10 under each one. Ended up putting the seat bottoms back in and getting a bass tube to lay in the bottom of the rear hatch and putting the amp in the passenger side lock box. Battery fits perfectly snug with the bass tube in the bottom of the rear hatch, and the nitrous bottle sits perfect in the spare tire area. Interior looks completely stock, and I only gave up a bit of storage in the bottom of my hatch.

I still think a 10 under each reat seat delete box would be cool though.

here's a good post on this subject
https://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/sho...=rear+seat+box

and here's an ebay auction for some rear seat delete boxes. the auction has ended, but considering the guy has 7 available, he either makes them, or has a supplier.

If anyone else is interested I contacted the company and here is the website:

http://www.speedspecialty.com/store

They are $64.99 for a pair, not to bad IMO.

Does anyone know if these are wood or plexiglass or what? They're designed for a 4th gen, is the fit 100%? The color matching with the grey sux! How does the black look in a black interior?

Thanks,
Bill

Why not just make them? I made mine for under $20, plus my labor, which is free They are really fairly simple to make. I made templates out of cardboard first to check the fitment, then transfered the templates to hardboard. Finished off with a high quality black carpet to match.

I'm the kind of guy who makes something that doesn't turn out 100% right, and it pisses me off every time I look at it.

Wanna make me a pair? lol.
