wtf is wrong with my door!?

hey, i first noticed something was wrong with my door when i took a hard turn and heard a clanking noise in the door, like something was rolling around. Well i took the door panel off and i was right, first of all i noticed this:

the panel and weathershield has been off before, held up by masking tape...kinda pisses me off... Well i also noticed that there is a hole that looks like a bolt went in it and came out...there are also metal shavings all over wedged between the weathershield:

then i noticed the wost thing....i found this in the bottom of the door...wtf is it, whats wrong with my door?

the window rolls up fine and door locks fine, everything about the door seems to work properly...can anyone help?

i dont know how it is where u live, but i dont take my car to GM anymore. the ppl are so nice but they charge outrageous amounts of money. i take my car to smaller shops now who put more time into the project and do it for cheaper. try a smaller garage instead of GM. thats just my $0.02

First time i did a window motor i took the regulator out of the window with my bare hands and didnt notice the edges where that sharp. When I was finished it looked like some1 took razor blades to my hands.
