Manual 4 spd vs. 5 spd consoles

Hey, does anyone know if the center consoles are different between the 4 speed and 5 speed cars? I've got a dash and center console out of my 84Z that I might end up putting in the 91. If nobody knows, then I guess I'll find out, and post back so everyone else will know!

Thanks...

AFAIK, only the painted on shift pattern is different.

Thanks! That's what I thought just by looking, but didn't have a 5 speed console to compare to...

I wasn't aware that there was a 4 speed manual option for the 84' What is the RPO code for the 4 speed?

MM5 for 5sp, and MX0 for 700r4, but i can't find an RPO for 4 SP standard.

Nevermind, I found it - MM4

So is that the RPO code for an '84? I kept having people tell me that there weren't any 4-speeds in '84, but as far as I can tell, this looks pretty factory. I mean, I guess someone could have swapped it in there, but I actually haven't checked the codes to see if it was orginal.

Here is a link to the 84' Camaro spec.

The RPO for the 4 speed is at the bottom in the "1984 Z28 Special Performance Package" list.
