So harwood said no pins needed...
Just wanted to let everyone know it is definately true!! Here people that pin hoods because of flying off worries, went to super chevy show last sunday for the sunday show day its a good 50 minute drive all highway i decided to drive it up there instead of trailering it.....Drove for a good 25 miles at 95+ with a VERY strong head wind and had no issues, at about 120 i got a little bit of shaking at the rear of the hood but nothing that worried me.
I hear tons of people who wont get glass hoods in fear of them rocket shipping off the car, fear not...with harwood anyways

Even a steel oem hood can catch the wind, and take off.
The safety catch on these cars is crap, and this is the reason I needed to get a new hood from the dealer, several years ago.

I had to get one from the junk yard three months ago, because it flew up and bent the hood, and broke the henges....nothing like flying down the 1/4 mile and having your hood fly up.
if installed right it usually never happens right away... it's the 3rd or 4th time your going that fast. if it hasn't happened yet, eventually it will. just keep up on the hood and check everything over once in awhile.
