Actually, what would be completely cruel is if you had a couple of those hidden in the bushes... and as soon as the thief tripped the detectors, they started beeping ominously... and then started firing (blanks, that is).

Poor guy would probably wet himself.

I feel your pain. Mine was stolen a year ago during the day from a shoping center. Just went in to buy something an hour later come out and it's gone.. Lost about 3k in audio but in a way I guess I got lucky since the cops found the car 3 hours later. While the guys were trying to take off the rims. Here's some pics.

If you have an expensive stereo, put razors on it, so when they pull it out it messes up their fingers

well i feel your pain, just about three weeks ago someone tried stealing my gta broke both the locks the steeringcolmn. the funning thing is that the battery was dead, you have to push on the shifter before she will crank and it does still have the vats system. did not touch my $350 head unit the faceplate was sitting under the seat and the sub and amp i have in the back. the doors were in great shape before this happend now the lock holes are f****d. I hope things work out better for you now. viper released a alram system that can page you for up to a mile when it sets off. when I fix it, this is something I am looking into

Venom, old..23!LOL Music too loud gives you headaches!LOL Dont ride with me, I am running about 2000 amps thru my stereo. I have a daughter your age.LOL Anyway, flood light and a loud alarm and you should have no problem Also, someone who knows you stole your stereo. They knew the car to hit. Surprised you didnt hear glass break. I have service trucks, I was getting something out the front and someone was getting something out the back. The only thing in the back was a rusted out A?C unit. I tried to call them back and tell them they could have it but they were hauling a$% down the street.

luckaly ive never had a problem with gettign anything stolen or damaged on my cars but i usualy dont have much in them to steal unless they want some empty bottles or some english comp books lol but seriously after reading this once my car is painted and i get some nice wheels on it im debating on an alarm and im gona cover it at night and put a motion censor on our floodlight right above where i park. i mean im not gona have a system in the car to help save weight but i still dont want ppl poking around in my car without me konwing

Re: What hasn't happend to me lately f *ck

Sorry to hear about ur car man, I had my two subs and amp for about 2 weeks when they where stolen out of my car in the school parking lot. Morons left the head Unit which costed me more than the amp and subs put together. My cousin was the one that hooked me up and when he found out that they had stolen my **** he asked if i want to buy some more; HELL NO i'll just stick to my 6x9s. Luckily all that got messed up was my weather stripping which they pulled off and scratches. I was mad but it could of been worse than that, they could of stolen the car but young kiddos dont really know how to hot wire a car thank god. What really worrys me is that i have had the car totally refinished, I mean every thing from stripping the car to bear metal to professional paint job and i get it back Friday. Now all i'm gonna do is worry about it all the time, but thats what we have to deal with these days. Good luck with your car man

Re: What hasn't happend to me lately f *ck

A few weeks ago i got outta my '87 Z28, brand new paint just waxed and wheels looking good, and this guy said "nice ride, hope no one steals it" .....can you believe what went down after i walked about 50 feet from the car? that guy and a buddy of his were watching me and were looking into the car to see if i left it unlocked. I sent my friend to get the food from wendy's and i went back to find them underneith the ****ing car! I said what the hell is going on, and one took off running the other just looked at me stupid and than took off on a bike he had on the ground...

Re: What hasn't happend to me lately f *ck

at least here in the great state of Georgia a man has "the right to defend his personal property" which extends to home AND vehicle

if someone tried to break into my car, they had better be able to run at least 2750 feet per second because at 2749fps my AK-47 would win.

Romanian AK-47 - $350

75rd Drum- - $95

60 rounds of 7.62 armor piercing- $10
15 rounds of 7.62 tracer - $15

Watching a low life thug get splattered all over the pavement like a fly on a windshield- priceless

there are some things the police can solve, for everything else theres the second amendment!

we take care of ourselves in the dirty south!

as long as you are 21, you can carry any weapon you like, in any state of rediness you like as long as its in your glovebox or center console OR if its in "plain view". (this includes carrying it on your person as long as its visible) it can be locked and loaded with the safety off for all they care.

or if you have your concealed weapons permit you can carry it hidden wherever you go except bars or government buildings. my 9mm is like my wallet, i never leave home without it!

Re: What hasn't happend to me lately f *ck

Dude, I can totally relate to this, I had my 86 z28 stolen a few months back. THey destroyed the lcok to get in, stole my head unit, just all around blatant disrespect. THese ****ing scums can't work for their own things in life, so they steal from those who do. I agree, theft should be punishable by lifetime prison sentences, and death based on the severity.

My advice and what I do everynight at my complex. Leave doors UNLOCKED remove head unit, pull fuel pump relay connector on the firewall for thirdgen owners. Leave nothing else valuable in the car. I like this razor idea too attached to the stereo.

Re: What hasn't happend to me lately f *ck

The alarm with a page function is definately the best investment in security for your car. I've had my blackouts stolen, my bumper was hanging halfway off because someone was trying to get to my hood. I got the pager alarm installed and 2 days later my alarm goes off and I get the page and run outside, the guy had run away, but he left his jimmy hook by my passenger door. I now have my alarm set to silent mode, so if my alarm goes off he doesn't know it, but I still get my page. I will never live in apartments ever again, atleast not without a garage, my next place is a house, even if I have to have roommates.

Re: What hasn't happend to me lately f *ck

This is a problem that I just can't get over. How can someone mess with another mans automobile, and still have enough dignity to leave their own home? If I ever caught someone stealing my tape deck, keying my car, smashing a window, I don't care. I would literally beat the **** out of them until they couldn't walk. It would be worth every single day in court, and or jail to give someone a taste of their own medicine.

But that was a beutiful car, look in the classifieds in your paper for the stuff that was stolen. My dad had a 78 Camaro with a great stereo that some guy ripped off, found it a week later in the paper for 100$, and went and got it back.
