Of course mine came with the Z28 the LS1 is coming from.

just the coolent bottle comes to over 50 on gmpartsdirect.com, you need not only the bottle, but the cap, hose and hose gasket, otherwise it is useless. and of course all those things are extra.

 

What part number you running???

UPDATE. the idiot i purchased my radiator reservoir on ebay sent me a washer reservoir i emailed him, lets see what happens......
EDIT UPDATE: well, he still has my bottle, he is going to ship it tomorow, and i am going to ship this one to the guy who ACTUALY ordered it (on his dime of course). he said if there is anything else i need off the car he'll give me a good deal on it.

 

I got the coolant reservoir and windshiled washer reservoir off a guy from camaroz28.com and he sold them to me for $23 shipped! A little dirty on the outside and the battery tray was cracked (in the places you had to shave to get it to fit underneath anyway!) so he gave me a deal and it worked out even better than I thought it would. I'll be getting them in my project car soon I hope. I'll take pictures and see if i can come up with a way to not have to notch the fender or fender brace.

 

You can always get a extra brace form the junkyard & experiment with it.This way you still have a stock one for replacement.Thats what i did anyway....

 

i've got extras that and i just parted out my 84 Z. So I'm using parts from it that aren't really sellable to mock up alot of my ideas.

Does anyone have a photo of how they cut the battery tray area out to slide the tank through?

 

Back from hibernation...Someone here posted a template for this method of install.Think it was on the fabrication section.

 

I really like how mine turned out. it is solid and with the cover over the top it really cleans up the engine bay. here is the video on it.
