Finally my Camaro...I mean TA is done.
I finally finished my Trans Am. I started around last year some time and then had to head off to college so my car sat for a while. I came home seal the car and than painted the car. I brought the car home for a wet sanding and on the way back to the place I was painting it...my hood flew off (don't know how yet) smashed my windshield f-ed my door and the fender was toast. So I went ahead and bought that hood. Painted it and cleared it. So... My fellow thirdgeners....I give you...my car.

I still need to wet sand and buff. I'm not scared about the wetsanding...I've never buff before and i've only heard horror stories about buffing...either from do-it yourselfers or what people pay to get it done. In any case i'm open for some advice. Thanks
and i guess my computer is so slow that some how someone left feedback before i was done posting all my pic. LOL

Looks good. I think the car would look alot better if you blacked out the front of Ram Air scoop....or install a grill or something. Just looks weird being body color. A nice set of 17's or 18's would really set the car off too. Overall, looks good

interesting side exit exhaust. i agree with the ss scoop being body colored doesnt look right. nice car though. and dont worry about buffing. you will have a problem on a stock paintjob, but if its redone, theres usually enough clear where you dont have to worry about burning through. i think buffing is like the easiest thing ever. just make sure you tape off EVERYTHING. compound stains will NEVER come out.

Nice! Not a HUGE fan of the hood, maybe if it was functional or at least the "Scoop" part was painted black or something, but I'm definatly liking the Z28 wing :-P

Nice Ride. I'll post pics of mine when I'm done.
Red on Red 1989 Camaro RS
3" Jongbloed Hood
'Notchback' Hatch
92 GTA Tail lights, (custom work to the RBC and 1/4's to make it work)
Camaro Hi-Rise Spoiler with center supports deleted.
I always have to build a "one of a kind" car.... this time I think I'm going overboard.

I like it! If you are adventurous, you could cut it out yourself, or you can just paint the inside black, but it looks good none the less.

the exhust wasn't too hard to rig up the drive side was the worst part the passager was the easy side. As for the hood i'm getting it cut out one of these days. The hood came with the grill i just need find the time to get it cut out.
