how to get seats out?

how to get seats out?

all the bolts that hold the seat brackets to the floor are rounded off and i cant get them out, is there anyway to take the seat off the hinges or what? everything is rusted and stuck. WTF can i do?

Try spraying/applying some PB Blaster penetrating fluid to the rusted/rounded off nuts a night before you attempt to take them off w/ the above said Vice Grips... good luck.

Yeah,vice grips and spray some liquid wrench or PB blaster on there and you should be good to go

tried all of the above, still no go. if i still cant get them off, maybe ill just grind the bolts off and weld the brackets to the new floorpan.*sigh* i pulled up a corner of a carpet looking for the floor, needless to say i didnt find it, HOLY RUST!! wait til i post up pix of the floor. its a good thing this car was free and i will be doing up the car in school.

Dremel the nut off so the stud is in tact?

get some leverage on those vice grips.And a new pair if yours are worn out

use a torch to heat the nuts,then spray some wd 40 and go berserk with the vise grips,just be VERY,VERY careful not to torch the whole car
