prep work

im about to paint my spoiler and i have it sanded down and i was wondering if i could use self-etching primer? i wasnt sure if that was ok or if it is for just bare metal.

Axle/Gears: ones with teeth
not needed for a plastic spoiler, i would use epoxy if you want it sealed. i am also assumeing this is a rear spoiler not the front urathane. correct me if its wrong since the process would be diffrent. you could get away with a few coats 3-4 of highbuild primer and wet sand then base coat.
