New paint, found something odd.

I just had the car painted in may, and it came out great. I garage it, use a sheepskin glove to wash it, and i only use microfiber towels to clean it. I am very careful with the car, but today i found something that is worrying me. here is a picture:

what is it? they look like little fish eyes almost, they seem to be in the surface of the clear and not deep, i have no idea what they are. any idea as to what they are and how they can be removed would be REALLY great. this car actually won 1st in the chevy madness 71 - Current Camaro class. thanks guys.

Wow, if you noticed those i don't want to know what you'd notice on my paint job...

But as far as what it is, i really have no clue. could moisture have gotten in there somehow?

It could be a lot worse.

I was told that my car has peroxide poisoning. It's painted Kandy pink, and everyplace that a dent was fixed came through the paint in huge white spots.

Well good luck with it whatever it may be.

that picture really isn't very clear to tell. if it's under the clear it could be the metallic pulling apart. if wet sanding or even easier clay bar won't do the trick it's hard to say. can you feel it blindly as you run your hand across it?

a higher quality picture would definatley help.

That really surprises me... I haven't seen that in years. Most of the new materials will not have this bleed through. I believe you, and it sounds, from your description, that that truly is what is happening... I just am amazed that it still is out there. Who painted the car?? Was is a back yard guy using up some old material that was laying around? If it is a reputable shop that has a guarantee, they will probably stand behind it. (especially if they use one product religiously.)

It looked like that to me in the picture... Appears to be under the clear, If this is the case, you're probably fubared...Unless your paint shop has a guarantee as well.

My boyfriend works at a paint store, and his dad owns a shop, so my boyfriend was the one to get the bondo, and my car was primered for a lil bit, and it was painted for almost a year, and as the pink kandy started to fade the spots where the car was bondoed came through. I guess we just got unlucky with a bad batch of bondo. Ill get you some pictures if youd like to see it.

I just cant believe that it came through all that paint. Primer, white, metalic, kandy and clear.

paint is so thin and true candy is even thinner in the actual point it's mostly clear so it would be more noticeable.

then it's extremely thin and what your experiencing is pretty normal if you make a mistake. 1 out of 10 can paint a true candy paint. to spend so much money on a paint job and have that happen i would be upset. if you got your paint discounted and someone painted it for little to nothing then it's expected. at least it lasted as long as it has.

It used to be a matter of too much hardener in the filler that would cause the staining... But, as I said before, modern materials have grown beyond this.
If it truly actually stained, then the primer and sealer should have stopped this.

My paint was discounted, and it was painted for free. This was the guys first kandy paint job, and it turned out great. The reason why the kandy faded was because it's the only Kandy color thats not guaranteed to not fade, and they recently said it shouldnt even be used on the outside of cars either. So im not sure if we even would have seen the spots that came through if my paint didnt fade so much.

Even though i've had all these problems, im still gonna go back with the same color.
