Help, automatic shift ***

I can’t figure out how to get it off.
I need to take out the center consol so I can install new carpet.

automatic shift ****?

Take a look at the front of the shift ****, there will be a small metal C clip...pry that out and then pull the **** off.

it looks like that. its a shift ***, but for an automatic

Axle/Gears: 3.42 Open , 10 Bolt (ukn)
you're looking at the backside of your shifter...the front side is the side towards the dash and guages....it'll be a big C-clip, which looks something like a rather large staple. pull that out, and pull up, if it doesn't pull off, pull harder, cause u haven't pulled hard enough yet.
