4th Gen Rear Seats in a 3rd Gen Problem???

I installed an set of 4th gen seats in my 82 Camaro. It is a big difference on comfort and appearance, but I can't seem to keep the rear seats down like the 3rd gen seats. They just don't seem to fit correctly, and they pop up from the back after someone gets off of them. If you have done this switch and either noticed the same problem or have a fix please share it here.

my third gen seats use velcro in the back to keep them down.

The problem is that when whatever person removed the seats from the donor car, they bent them forward before unbolting them, thus bending the little bracket at the front of the seat. Just clamp it in a vice and pull it back to normal, and the seat will not pop up anymore.
