Trans AM fenders

I have a 91/92 Trans AM that i bought from someone who ran it into a tree on the left side. there was hardly any damage done to it just the nose cone was poped in and the fender was poped in at the front of it and wrinkled on the side. i can get th nose cone to pop out but the fender would just be easier to replace. ive been seeing things all over saying that they changed the fenders for the 91/92 Trans AM but i was wondering exactly what was different about them. is the only difference the slot between the wheel well and the door? is there any differences between that and a 91/92 Trans AM fender?

91/92 Trans am Fenders are the same fenders they used on ALL 82-92 FIREBIRDS. That is to say that Prior years Trans Am Fenders are not the correct ones for your year application.
