Anyone done or seen this done?

Has anyone ever seen a custom Glass top that sits in the roof permanently attached like windshield would be.

Something similar to the corvette one piece glass top only permanently attached.

I don't understand the purpose of something like that? It sounds kind of like a targa top, only without function. Or maybe just a really big sunroof. I don't get the point of this...

You mean like a T-Top without the thin bar between the panels?

Yeah, I was looking at something like a solid glass panel roof that is not removable. Mainly because I never remove the t-tops and if it was permanently sealed, I wouldnt have to worry about the leaks as much.

Just a thought.

a new set of t-top weatherstrips will be cheaper than the conversion you are wanting to do

The weatherstripping doesn't always solve the problem completely. But I think for the amount of time it would take to fabricate something like this and make it look perfect or stock, you would be better off troubleshooting your leaks.

I never said I had leaks.

I was just wondering if this has been done. apparently not.

I have seen a targa, but nothing permanent. I say go for it, and be the first.
