Area around windsheild leaking

Water leaks to the floor pan by the pedals from what is believed to be around the windshield on my 82 Trans Am. Originally a few people thought it was from the firewall, but since that was covered, it is most likely around the windshield. I have a few bubbles on top by the drivers side.

Anyone have this problem, or have any input?

Pull it out and see what you got. Or have a shop do it.

Just to pull the windshield and then replace with new seam sealer and trim? about $110-$125. But if you find rot, who knows. But ya gotta do it because if everything is getting water on it other mysterious things will start happening and you'll never know why. Water takes the path of least resistance and thats usually to something important.

Pull the wipers and screen covering the cowl area and check that the drains in there are not plugged before you pull the windshield. Thats a notorious area for leaking. Have someone spray in there with a hose while you uncomfortablly stick your head under the dash to watch.

I paid $65 to have my windshield removed and another $65 to have it reinstalled after my car was painted.
