yeah i got new plastics from a guy off here a long while back
i painted/touched up a few parts with krylon fusion plastic spray (flat black)
and it worked great i also just finished painting a different center console black with Dupont vinyl and fabric spray and it came out MINT ...at first i sprayed it on way too light and in the sun and it came out really rough and not very dark black then i bought 2 more cans and put about 3 coats of the stuff on and it really looks amazing
i dont want this going off topic but dont worry about getting SEM paint and going through the trouble of finding where to get it i just used what was at orielly auto and hobby lobby and it came out fantastic NO problems whatsoever
i also did some rust repair and resealing im gonna put in another thread titled "saving my floorpan"

Are those seats comfortable? They look nice, and seem very inexpensive compared to most leather racing seats available.

yeah they are very comfortable and have ajustable mechanical lumbar
at first i thought they seemed a little different but i wasnt used to sitting in a racing seat so it kinda made my back feel wierd at first but then i adjusted the lumbar slightly and leaned the seat back a bit...it was nearly vertical
and they feel great
For 100% real leather they are a great deal when i compared them to others...the stiching is beautiful and they dont let you move around for the serious enthusiasts
check them out they went above and beyond for me and made me the custom embroidered GTA logo for a great deal with some of the best customer service ive ever had

haha i was waiting for someone to catch that good eye
when i took the shots i couldnt find it and i was about to just find a leather one on ebay but then i finally came across it while measuring out my new hood (making the jap hood out of a 3 inch harwood cowl hood)
so i still havent even had the time to put it back on yet but ill get to it....
i want to say thanx for all the great compliments and praise i really worked my a$$ off to get it to where it is and i wish i had some better before pics....just picture tan interior with stained and torn cloth gta seats...many cracked plastics nasty carpet and a nasty rusted headliner. I also added many GTA options with the interior swap...i added an overhead console, auto dim rear mirror, all new switches with white lettering everywhere, of course the rear leather seats and black GTA door panels a MUST...etc.
much of the interior that was that dark grey/gray was sprayed black with either vinyl or plastic dye to achieve a nice black interior all around
my main goal was to have as many of the GTA options as i possibly could while keeping the car super clean...oh and while i was lifting out my old interior i was relieved from a long time worry...i found the factory report for my car under the rear cargo carpet and found that my car is indeed a factory GTA ...my rpo codes wore away on the little white sticker so i never knew

Looks great, have you considered a 4th gen center console?? I think that it would go great with your seats.
Nice Job

A good e brake handle option is swapping the 3rd gen for a 4th gen. I liked the leather wrapped 4th (which is in black/ebony) over the 3rd (which is grey only from I've seen). You'll have to swap the entire assembly though. Good job on the swap to black. I finished mine last Thanksgiving weekend with a full set of 4th gen leather from an '01 RA.
