power hatch pull down

No luck with a search, so if anyone knows of a good thread that's already been posted then let me know.

How difficult is it to install one of these on a car that wasn't originally equipped with it? Mine doesn't have it, and the thing that's in there now is pushed so far down from the hatch being slammed that it barely keeps it closed.

if it's any of the cars on your cardomain then they all came with a power pull down (PPD) stock. 86 was first year for the PPD. it was standard equipment. the reason it is sinking is because it is a PPD car somone converted to manual, and they did a poor job. all you need do is get a working pull down unit and install it. they can be had in junkyards, or you can get a rebuilt "better then stock" unit from www.Top-downsoulutions.com. lon builds amazing units. i have baught parts from him before. everyone raves about his PPD units
