air dam?

So I just relized I dont have a splashguard any more. Im guessing it was ripped off when I was driving the other night. Do I need to replace it, or is it fine to just not have one?

if your talking about the air-dam behind the nose, well that isnt a "splashguard" It directs air up toward your radiator, because the holes in the nose do not allow adiquite airflow. Do you need one? not persay on a stock engine, but you should notice an increase in engine temp.

You may be fine on a maro but I busted off the airdamn on my 87 bird a few years ago and it would overheat within a few minutes of driving. While heading to the junkyard I had to drive a few miles, stop, let it cool then continue on. Once I bolted up the airdam it cooled fine.

A local junkyard should have them, maybe the dealership, Hawks is good too. And it really is an important piece.
